Meals and drinks

Hot and cold beverages and a variety of sandwiches will be offered once your operation is complete. 

Smoking

The Trust operates a no smoking policy. i.e. you are not allowed to smoke anywhere on the hospital site. This includes the ward toilets.  Please in the interests of fire safety adhere to this at all times. 

Mobile phones

Use of mobile phones are permitted on the Unit to update relatives on your progress after your surgery. This will give reassurance that you have returned to the ward, but please do not arrange a pick up time until nursing staff have agreed this with you. Please note your relative will need to bring a wheel chair from the main entrance to collect you from the ward. 

Please respect other patients. Leave phones on silent and use discreetly.
