The James Paget University Hospital will be hosting a Careers Fair on Saturday 10th June, between 11.00am and 3.30pm in the Hospital Burrage Centre (located in a separate building next to Car Park G at the back of the Hospital). You do not need to book and can drop in anytime between these hours. We are also offering free parking in Car Park G for attendees to the event.
The event will showcase the excellent services we deliver to our local community and give an insight into the career opportunities within the NHS.
If you are interested in pursuing a Career within the NHS this is your opportunity to speak to our staff on how you can turn your interest into a reality.
On the day we will have representation from over 25 different departments who will be showcasing the various roles within their area. Our Education Team will be present with information on all of the different pathways that are available to you here at the James Paget. As well as this, there will be stalls from local universities and educational providers who can offer information and support on entry requirements and qualifications.
If you are a Student/Registered Professional looking to join the James Paget or transfer your skills into the acute setting please bring along your CV as there will be an opportunity for an interview on the day. Alternatively, we would be happy to take your details and arrange an interview for a later date.
If you have decided a Career within the NHS is for you we will be offering presentations throughout the day on ‘What the James Paget University Hospital has to offer’ and a presentation on ‘Selling yourself in your application and interview’. These presentations will be repeated and the timings for each are below:
- ‘What the James Paget University Hospital has to offer’ – Presentations at 12.00pm and 2.00pm
- ‘Selling yourself in your application and interview’ – Presentations at 1.00pm and 3.00pm
