Our new hospital
James Paget New Hospital Programme
Our vision for developing a new hospital and health campus to serve current and future generations of our local community.
In 2020, it was announced that the James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust would receive national funding through the Department of Health and Social Care to explore all options for the building of a new hospital as part of the Government’s Health Infrastructure Plan – one of 40 which will be built across the country by 2030.
The Trust is delighted that the James Paget will receive government funding to build a new hospital and health campus, and this investment will help us to continue to provide world-class care for our local community and for our NHS staff for years to come.
We are at the start of a long and ambitious journey, and we need our workforce, patients, partners and local communities to support us along the way.
