Our vision

The population served by the James Paget is expanding, with 15,000 homes being built in the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area over the next 15 years. People are also living longer, often with one or more physical or mental health condition.

We know that people want to access health and care services seamlessly, and the Trust is a member of the Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care System (ICS), a partnership of local organisations working together to improve the health, wellbeing and care of local people.

The Trust’s ambition to redevelop its hospital site is part of the wider Norfolk and Waveney ICS Estates Strategy, which focuses on how our NHS buildings can support patients in accessing quality healthcare.

We are at the start of developing our plans for the James Paget Hospital site, and we need our staff, our patients and our communities to help shape of vision, and how we achieve it together.
