Experience:

I qualified from Imperial College school of medicine at Charing Cross in 1999, did my Basic Medical Training at Ipswich hospital and gained membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2002. I then completed higher specialist training in diabetes, endocrinology and general internal medicine in the Eastern region. In 2005 I was awarded Novo Nordisk research fellowship to undertake research into small fibre neuropathy using the LDI flare technique. This research led to an MD in 2010. I directed my interest into Acute Medicine and was a Consultant in Acute medicine at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for 5 years before moving to James Paget University Hospital in 2015.
