Experience
Mr Khurana has been working at the James Paget University Hospital since Aug 1999. He graduated in 1986 from M.D.University, Rohtak, India. His initial training in Trauma & Orthopaedics was at the University Hospital in Rohtak & subsequently at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi for 5 years. He had further higher Surgical Training in Trauma & Orthopaedics in UK from 1991- 1996 under ODTS programme. He was awarded M.Ch from the University of Liverpool in 1994. He did an AO Fellowship in Trauma & Orthopaedics at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto Canada in 1996. He Worked as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Apollo Hospital New Delhi and at Birmingham Heartland & Solihull hospital from 1997-1999 before joining JPUH in Aug 1999.
He has wide range of experience in NHS over the last 25 years and now specialises in the management of Complex Knee Arthroplasty and Revision surgery for failed Total Knee Arthroplasty, Total Hip Arthroplasty and Complex Trauma surgery.
