Trained in Medicine at Tartu University, Estonia 1988. Training in Cardiology was done at Tampere University Hospital, Finland. Worked in 2002-2010 as an Interventional Cardiologist at Karolinska and Danderyd University Hospitals in Stockholm, Sweden and at the Salam Centre of Cardiovascular Surgery, Khartoum, Sudan. Appointed at NNUH and JPUH since June 2010.
