Eden team

Eden Team are a team of four midwives who provide care to women with complex social needs and/or mental health issues.

If you require an enhanced service to ensure that you have all of your needs met throughout your pregnancy and the postnatal period, an Eden Team midwife will provide home visits throughout the pregnancy and liaise with any other professionals that are involved in your care so that we can ensure a robust care plan is developed.

After you have had your baby, we will also provide home visits for up to 28 days after which yours and your baby’s care will be handed over to your Health Visitor or Family Nurse.

We also work closely with the Perinatal Mental Health team and every Tuesday afternoon we run a joint clinic with a Consultant Psychiatrist. There is also the opportunity to be reviewed by an Obstetric Consultant, if required.  This clinic takes place in the Antenatal Clinic.

If you would like to speak to a member of the team, please contact us either by telephone on 01493 453933 or feel free to email us on edenteam@jpaget.nhs.uk
