Educational and training organisations from across the region came along to the James Paget University Hospital yesterday to highlight the value of apprenticeships.
The event, for staff at the hospital, gave more information about the apprenticeship routes available and showcased the work of organisations including the University of East Anglia, the University of Suffolk, East Coast College, East Coast Apprenticeships and Training, Norfolk County Council Community Learning Services and West Suffolk College.
There were also stands and the chance to talk to the hospital’s training and education teams.
New qualifications and increased funding for apprenticeships now means there are more opportunities that ever both for hospital staff wishing to progress to the next level, such as the Registered Nursing Degree Apprenticeship, and those wanting to start working here.
The event was designed for managers looking to train an apprentice on their team and those looking for apprenticeship opportunities.
