Clown Doctors celebrate special anniversary

21 September 2018

The Clown Doctors were raising smiles among our young patients today – as they marked a special anniversary.

Clown Doctors 5

It is 10 years since the very first ‘Clown Round’ took place at the James Paget Hospital.Since then, the team of Clown Doctors has been bringing fun, laughter and distraction to young people and their families in hospitals and hospices across the East.

And they will continue to do so after receiving funding of more than £140,000 from Children in Need, which will ensure that Clown Rounds can continue for another three years. The Clown Round is organised by the charity Suffolk artlink, which develops and delivers inclusive arts programmes in communities across region. For more information, visit
