One of our hospital volunteers has raised around £1,000 for East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) by parachuting from a plane.
Roy Bullen has been a volunteer at the James Paget for the past nine years, carrying out a range of tasks to support staff on the wards, in the patient experience team and at the front desk.
And in one of his latest good deeds for worthy causes, he took part in a tandem skydive at Ellough, near Beccles, in May to raise money for the hospices, which provide specialist care and support for children with life-threatening conditions, and their families.
After tallying up the money collected he’s handed over £975 plus Gift Aid to EACH.
Roy says; “I’d like to thank everyone who supported me.”
