Childrens ward donations fund new toy vehicles

Young people visiting our childrens ward now have a whole new range of toys to play with after fundraising raffles at Top Body Gym in Gorleston and Caroline Brewster Clairvoyant evenings.

The money raised has funded a number of ride-on toys including a blue Mercedes pick up sit and ride car, which will allow our young patients to drive themselves to the operating theatre, with remote controls for parents and staff to use if required, and three ‘Little Tikes’ ride on toys - a Police Response Cozy Coupe police car, a Dino Cozy Coupe and a Magical Unicorn Carriage.

There’s even a petrol pump so youngsters can fill up before using the vehicles.

The childrens ward team would like to thank everyone involved in the fundraising efforts, including Scott and Shelley Graysmark from Top Body Gym and Brenda Rawlinson, fundraiser at the Caroline Brewster events.

Jade Rawlinson said; “We are very grateful to everyone at Top Body Gym and Caroline's Clairvoyant evenings who support the fundraising. Through their efforts we’ve managed to purchase some great new items for children visiting the ward to use, to help make their stay a little better.”
