Mental Health Awareness Week

18 May 2020

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week.

Poor mental health can affect all of us at some point in our lives. It’s therefore really important for us to look after our mental wellbeing and others around us too including friends, family and colleagues.

This year the Mental Health Foundation is looking specifically at kindness. Over the past few weeks we have seen some truly amazing acts of kindness across our trust and community. Being kind and having someone show kindness to us is a wonderful way to promote positivity and wellbeing.

Being kind can be the smallest of things, from making someone a cup of tea, video calling a friend to check they’re okay or helping someone in need.

Thank you to everyone who has shown our team kindness recently.
