Three of our surgeons will be taking part in the London to Brighton cycle ride next month to raise funds for our hospital charity.
Consultant Surgeons Christopher Liao and Mr Vamsi Velchuru and Urologist Mr Lokesh Suraparaju are currently in training for the 55-mile ride that will be held on Sunday 19 September.
The event allows cyclists to complete the route in their own time, and to raise money for a charity that individuals choose for themselves – and all three of our surgeons will be riding to raise funds for the James Paget Hospital Charity.
The ride is along a fully signposted route with refreshment stops and mechanical support available and our team will join thousands of other cyclists aiming to complete the route, which includes the road hill climb at Ditchling Beacon on the way into Brighton.
