Please continue to wear a surgical mask in our hospital

14 July 2021

A photograph of the main entrance at the front of the James Paget. This shows the main entrance doors, part of the NHS pattern on the ground and a blue sky behind.

Although Covid-19 restrictions are being relaxed across the country from Monday 19 July, we’re continuing to ask anyone attending our hospital to wear a surgical mask, as a matter of courtesy to our patients, other visitors and our staff, if you can.

If you do not have a surgical mask you will be offered one at reception and encouraged to wear this unless you have a medical exemption.

We will also be keeping our existing one-way systems and visiting arrangements in place and we would ask that you respect our staff and other visitors when moving around our buildings. Thank you for your consideration.
