We’re offering both walk-in and booked Covid-19 vaccination opportunities this weekend for first doses for anyone aged 30 or over and for second vaccinations for anyone who has already had a first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
At the Louise Hamilton Centre, on our hospital site in Gorleston, you can walk-in for your first vaccination, if you are aged 30 or older, today, Friday 28, tomorrow Saturday 29, Sunday 30 or Monday 31 May, 8.30am to 5.30pm.
And this weekend, if you’re aged 40 or over and have already had a first dose of the Astra Zeneca vaccine, you can attend the Louise Hamilton Centre as a walk-in to get your second dose. We would ask that, if you do this, you cancel your second appointment if this is already booked, and that it is at least eight weeks since your first vaccination.
Booked and walk-in appointments for first vaccinations only are available at Market Gates in Great Yarmouth today, Friday 28, tomorrow, Saturday 29, Sunday 30 and Monday 31 May. If you would like to book in advance this can be done via the national booking system online here; Book or manage your coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination - NHS (www.nhs.uk) or you can call 119. These first appointments are also open to anyone aged 30 or over.
If the national eligible age group is lowered in the next few days then you will also be able to attend a booked or walk-in appointment at either venue.
