The James Paget’s Annual General Meeting will take place virtually on Wednesday 22 September at 6pm.
At our AGM, we will outline our achievements of the past year, while setting out our priorities for the months ahead.
Anyone can attend, and we are encouraging you to submit any questions you have to us in advance – please see further details below.
The year 2020-21 has been a unique period for the hospital – and the whole of the NHS – as it has met the challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as continuing to provide accessible healthcare to the population we serve.
The Trust has also produced its annual Quality Report for 2020-21, outlining how we have performed within the areas of patient safety, clinical effectiveness, and patient experience. This report and a summary document are available on our website here.
Anna Davidson, Chair of the James Paget’s Board of Directors, said: “The last year has been extraordinarily challenging for the JPUH, matched by an incredible response from all our people. We will always remember and pay tribute to those across the NHS who lost their lives to COVID-19 looking after others and to those who continued working throughout, many coping with immense personal trauma.
“Here at the James Paget all our teams have worked incredibly hard, demonstrating resilience and selflessness in their efforts to keep patients as safe as possible. I have also been deeply moved by the compassion, support and kindness our staff have shown throughout to patients, families and to each other.”
