Today is National Healthcare Support Workers Day and we wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of our fantastic support workers. The term support worker encompasses many different job titles from assistant practitioners to pharmacy support staff and nursing associates and all play a critical role in our hospital and help to provide high quality care for our patients.
Healthcare Support Worker Day is a national event organised by the RCN and today healthcare support workers at the James Paget will be entered into a ‘Lucky Dip’. There are some amazing prizes that have been kindly donated by local businesses and organisations - including Pleasurewood Hills, Sea Life Centre Great Yarmouth, Pleasure Beach Great Yarmouth, Dunston Hall, Caldecott Hall, Fitness Express Caister-on-sea, Imagine Spa Caister-on-sea, Iconic Taverham, Tesco Great Yarmouth, Royal College of Nursing, Studio Richelle Gorleston, Hippodrome Circus, Norfolk Museums, Gabriella Aesthetics and Beauty clinic, Tropics By Catriona Hawke, Hair and Beauty by Gemma, Pensthorpe Park, The Fig Gorleston, Saxon Packaging and our hospital charity - and all the lucky winners will be contacted after the draw has taken place.
