Next week – Monday 26 September to Sunday 2 October – is Organ Donation Week and our team will be taking part in a variety of activities to raise awareness of the importance of having the organ donation conversation with your loved ones.
This Saturday, 24 September, our Organ Donation team will be joining the Gorleston Cliffs Park Run, which sets off at 9am, and they are inviting anyone who would like to take part to join them to create a sea of pink along the seafront.
If you already have a pink shirt from a previous event please wear it, but there will be a few available on the day for those taking part too.
From Monday to Friday next week our hospital will be lit up in pink every night to mark the event and on Tuesday, 27 September, there will be a pink Organ Donation gazebo outside the front entrance to give you the opportunity to have a chat with our team and to get more information.
