Anna joined the Trust as a Non-Executive Director in 2015 - the year in which the James Paget received its ‘Good’ rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) - and became Chair in 2017.
Under Anna’s stewardship, the Trust has continued to develop its services for patients, met the challenge of the global pandemic - and secured a place on the government’s new hospital programme.
“I have really enjoyed my time at the James Paget and having the chance to work with so many excellent people,” said Anna.
“I want to say thank you to all the staff; I have seen first-hand their care, compassion and absolute focus on doing the right thing for our patients, every hour of every day. It’s really awe-inspiring.”
Anna was presented with farewell gifts - and colleagues from the Trust’s Board of Directors and Council of Governors paid tribute to her hard work and inspiring leadership, as did NHS Norfolk and Waveney Chair Patricia Hewitt.
Chief Executive Jo Segasby said: “We are all so grateful for the huge contribution Anna has made - and everything she has done for the patients and staff at our hospital.”
