James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a member of the Great Yarmouth and Waveney Place Board, which helps to coordinate and deliver improvements to health and care services within our local area, tackle health inequalities, and provide joined-up care focused on the needs of our population.
The James Paget’s Deputy Chief Executive Jonathan Barber is the Chair of the Great Yarmouth and Waveney Place Board, which brings together partners from the NHS and wider health and care sector, local government, and the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sectors.
The Great Yarmouth and Waveney Place Board has made significant progress over the past year, including tackling some of the key issues affecting our populations, such as through the projects that supported our focus on respiratory conditions, and through targeted support for people with additional health and care needs through the Health Connect service locally.
