It’s World Cancer Day tomorrow, Saturday 4 February, and our team are marking the event today, Friday 3, with an open day in the Louise Hamilton Centre.

The event features a number of stands from organisations including Keeping Abreast, The Pear Tree Fund, Cancer Research UK and St Elizabeth Hospice, and has already been well attended this morning.

Alongside these charity and health stalls you can also meet some of our team including our Macmillan Cancer Support Cancer Care Navigators, and some of our Specialist nurses, including some from our Palliative Care team.

The event is open until 2pm today if you’d like to drop in.

Among the visitors to the Centre this morning was Great Yarmouth Mayor Graham Plant, pictured with two of our Cancer Care Navigators Jo and Lyndsey.
