Have your say on our quality priorities

05 January 2023

We’re inviting you to have your say on our Quality Account Priorities for 2023-24 and are asking you to fill in a short survey to give your views.

Ensuring the delivery of a quality service to patients, carers and the public is at the heart of what we do. Each year, we publish a Quality Account and this is available to view on our website here.

This Quality Account is a stand-alone document forming part of the Trust’s annual report and accounts that is presented at our public Annual Members’ Meeting in September.

In line with the Department of Health guidance, there are many elements we have to include within the Quality Account, however, the priorities we set on quality are for us all to contribute to and agree.

The priorities must link to the three domains of quality set out in the national document ‘High Quality Care for All’ as follows:

(1)  Patient Safety (how we keep our patients free from harm such as falls and pressure ulcers);

(2)  Clinical Effectiveness (the standards of care we provide for our patients); and

(3)  Patient Experience (what the process of receiving care feels like for the patient, their family and carers).

As we start to prepare next year’s Quality Account on what our key priorities for quality should be, we would like to gain your views in order to inform those decisions.
