As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, from 1st to 31st October, some of our Breast Care team and ophthalmology secretaries will be taking part in the Cancer Research UK Shine Night Walk 10k in Norwich this weekend.
Last year the team raised over £1,600 for Cancer Research UK through the event – and they are hoping to raise £2,000 this year if they can.
They will again be dressing up and this time seven people will be taking part – all wearing tutus!
The walk, in Norwich tomorrow, Saturday 7 October, starts at Chapelfield Gardens around 7.30pm with walkers then taking in key sites across the city including The Forum, City Hall, Norwich Guildhall and a circuit of the Castle before heading out to Dragon Hall, the Riverside Leisure Centre and Carrow Road. The walk then heads back towards the Railway Station before taking in Riverside Road, Bishop Bridge, the Cow Tower, the Courts and Norwich Cathedral before finishing at The Halls.
