Our James Paget Hospital Charity has rescheduled the next cycling fundraiser in our foyer, and this will now be held next week from Monday 8 to Thursday 11 April.
Once again there will be two static cycles set up in the foyer, close to the charity office, with the challenge to cycle the equivalent miles from the James Paget to the Eiffel Tower in Paris – a distance of about 410 miles or 660km - over the four days.
The aim will be to raise as much money as possible for our James Paget Hospital Charity surgical Robot Appeal.
A number of our team have signed up to take part and complete 30 minute sessions on one of the bikes – with some pledging multiple sessions across the four days.
Once again PureGym Great Yarmouth are kindly providing the exercise bikes for our use, and there will be collection buckets available for on-the-spot donations, as well as the option to scan a QR code and donate online.
All funds raised will go towards the £1.6million that we’re aiming to raise to purchase a surgical robot for the James Paget, so if you’re visiting our hospital next week please drop a few pennies into the buckets – or you can donate online here; https://www.jpaget-charity.org.uk/Appeal/surgical-robot-appeal
