Congratulations to Palliative Care Sister Josmi Shiju who has achieved a first for the Paget!
Josmi has become the first nurse in the organisation to gain a Masters in Palliative Care.
The MSc, from King’s College, London, involved online study including a detailed research project.
Josmi was supported by Lead Nurse, Matron and colleagues in the Division of Medicine to undertake the two-year-long online course to help her further specialise in palliative care.
“I am so grateful for the support of my colleagues, which enabled me to complete these studies,” said Josmi.
“Palliative care is something I am passionate about - it’s about providing the best possible care for people when they need it most, during the most difficult part of life’s journey.”
