Two new support groups – one for laryngectomy patients and the other for those with skin cancer – are being set up at the Louise Hamilton Centre, on our hospital site.
The Laryngectomy support group will meet on the third Friday of each month, from 10am to 11am, starting from Friday 19th July.
The Skin Cancer nurse-led support group will meet on the first Friday of each month, from 2.15pm to 3.30pm, starting on Friday 2nd August.
Both groups will be clinical nurse led, with our Macmillan Cancer Care Navigators available if needed, giving you the opportunity to get advice and help from the professionals and support from others facing similar challenges.
