Migraine Peer Support Group set up

13 June 2024

A peer support group for those with Migraine is being set up at the James Paget – and anyone with the condition is invited to attend.

The first meeting of the new group will be held next Thursday, 20 June 2024, from 6pm to 8pm, in the Louise Hamilton Centre on our hospital site.

This is your opportunity to meet others with Migraine and to share your experiences and stories. The first meeting will initially be hosted by our Neurology team who will be on hand, but the idea is that members themselves will run the peer support meetings and explore areas that they wish to have more information on.

If you would like to find out more please email Neurology@jpaget.nhs.uk or call 01493 453937 – or you can just come along to the evening on Thursday 20 June.

The Migraine Peer Support poster, which has black writing on a white background, a photograph of the entrance to the Louise Hamilton Centre and a graphic of a brain, with one side black and white, the other side in rainbow colours, on it. The text on the poster reflects that in the article above, including that the group will meet on the third Thursday of each month.
