Marks and Spencer Cafe
The Marks and Spencer Cafe, in our main hospital foyer, sells a range of sandwiches, salads, pastries, cakes, hot and cold drinks and snacks as well as other items such as cards, newspapers and magazines and basic toiletries.
A well-stocked trolley is taken onto each ward every weekday so there is an opportunity to buy newspapers, toiletries, confectionery and soft drinks.
A cash machine offering free withdrawals is available in the main foyer at the front of the hospital.
To ensure that any letters or cards sent to you are delivered promptly, it would help our post room staff if your friends and relatives clearly identify your name and ward on the envelope. Our postal address is:
James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Lowestoft Road, Gorleston, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, NR31 6LA.
Patient entertainment service
Televisions in the ward areas can be distracting for patients feeling very unwell. Some side rooms have their own television for patients to watch. You are welcome to bring your own small devices - e-readers, tablet computers, etc - providing you use headphones where applicable so as not to disturb other patients.
