Team of the Year – Clinical

Recognising our clinical teams and wards who work in collaboration to support and empower each other when caring for our patients, and improve the services we provide.

A team can be 2+ members of staff, including clinical and support staff working together.

Team of the Year – Non-Clinical

Celebrating the work of our non-clinical teams who support our hospital and enable clinical teams to provide compassionate care, either as a permanent team or a team who have come together for a specific project.

A non-clinical team can be 2+ members of staff.

Paget’s Person of the Year – Clinical

An individual who has made an exceptional contribution in a clinical role. They may have developed or enhanced a service or made a significant improvement to the quality of life for patients or staff. They have gone beyond their job description or role to achieve the best outcomes for patients and act with integrity and compassion to make positive choices in the best interests of patients and colleagues.

Paget’s Person of the Year – Non-Clinical

An individual who has made an exceptional contribution in a non-clinical role. They may have developed or enhanced a service or made a significant improvement to the quality of life for patients or their colleagues. They have gone beyond their job description to support patient outcomes or staff wellbeing, and made a significant difference.

Outstanding Leadership Award

An award for a supportive, kind, caring and all-round great leader, who exemplifies our Trust Values and makes a difference to those around them.

Open to clinical and non-clinical staff.

Change Leader Award

Recognising a member of staff at any level who has led change within the hospital. They have taken initiative to improve the quality of services and have encouraged, engaged and inspired others in leading this change, or they have taken the opportunity to make a positive difference out of challenging circumstances, spoken out and embedded learning when things haven’t gone to plan.

Volunteer of the Year

Recognising a volunteer who works tirelessly and generously, giving their time, enthusiasm and energy to help improve our services and support for our patients, visitors, families and others.

Rising Star Award

An award open to students of any nature (including trainees, apprentices, and Project Search students) or someone who has worked at the Trust for less than a year who has made a real impact and shown great potential.

EDP Gold ‘Patient Choice’ Award

This category is open to nominations from patients, relatives or carers only. We want to hear from you if one person or a team has made a real difference to your or a relative’s care. It could be something vital to their recovery or a small compassionate gesture that showed kindness or positivity.

Working Together Award

Recognising the achievements of an individual or teams working across hospital departments, collaborating with partners from different organisations, or completing a joint project to improve our services or hospital.

Respect Award

Whatever their role at the hospital, this award is for an individual or team making a positive difference for equity, diversity and inclusion for staff or for patients or our community

Sustainability and Innovation Award

Rewarding any individual or team that has improved efficiency or sustainability in their area of work, has led innovation or research to improve how we do things, or made a positive impact on the hospital’s commitment to its long-term Green Plan.
