Adult Dietetics Team
The Adult Acute Dietetics team at the James Paget University Hospital is a small team made up of dietitians, dietetic assistant practitioners, dietetic assistants and a dietetic secretary.
The dietetics team cover all of the adult inpatient wards, which includes providing speciality dietetic input to areas such as Intensive Care, Gastroenterology, Surgery, Renal, Stroke, Orthopaedic, Care of the Elderly, Oncology and Respiratory.

In addition to the clinical workload, the dietetics team are involved with education throughout the trust including training delivered to newly qualified nurses, ward staff, junior doctors and other allied health professionals. In addition to the education sessions that we provide, we are also able to welcome student dietitians from the University of Hertfordshire and the University of East Anglia to our team throughout the year.
