The Norfolk and Waveney Local Maternity and Neonatal Systems (LMNS) are currently working to improve the pelvic health care that you receive from the NHS during and after pregnancy – and if you’re pregnant or have had a baby in the past year you may like to attend an online session called 'Let’s Talk About Your Pelvic Floor'

This session will aim to help you manage common issues in pregnancy with tips and more information about exercises that can assist.
Pelvic health problems may include things like leaking of urine (pee), prolapse (bulging or swelling), injuries and infection, and pelvic girdle pain - pain in the pelvic area and/or back.
Please visit https://www.justonenorfolk.nhs.uk/pregnancy-early-days/having-a-baby/pelvic-health-during-pregnancy/ for more information.
You’re also invited to complete a survey about your experiences and your suggestions for improvement. The results of this survey will be used by your local service to understand what they are doing right and how they can improve.
The information will be collected and seen by the Local Maternity & Neonatal System and will only be shared with others in a way that would not identify you. If you would like to give your feedback please click this link; https://forms.office.com/r/y8YmD5favU
If you have any questions or comments about the survey or its contents, please email nwicb.perinatalpelvichealthservice@nhs.net
We also have a number of pelvic health videos that can be viewed below.
These include; Where are my pelvic floor muscles, How do I exercise my pelvic floor muscles, What should I do if I can't feel my pelvic floor relax, Exercises to control wind and poo, Top tips for emptying your bladder, What is bladder re-training, Drinks that can irritate the bladder, How to poo with ease, How to help your bowels work better, Pelvic stretches, and Breathing and the link to your pelvic floor.
