Work is starting on two areas of our site - the bus stop on the hospital forecourt and inside our main foyer.

Bus stop works
Improvement works are due to start on Monday, 7th April, to install a replacement bus shelter on site at the James Paget.
This work will include new surfacing, lighting, and improved access, and is being supported by Norfolk County Council with funding from their Bus Service Improvement Plan.
The work is expected to take four weeks to complete. The existing shelter and bus services will be unaffected during these works, although the real time information screen will be unavailable.
To safely enable this work a small number of parking spaces in our main public park (Car Park A) will be temporarily closed during the work.
Main foyer works
Our Patient Travel Office is being temporarily re-located to our main front desk from tomorrow, Friday 4 April, as work gets underway in our foyer.
Work is being carried out in our main reception area over the next few weeks as part of a re-organisation of offices around the main entrance foyer to our hospital, which will create a new office space for our Patient Advice and Liaison Service.
The Travel Office window, which is located in the foyer, close to the entrance to the M&S Café, will close at 2pm today, Thursday 3 April, with the team moving all services to the front desk.
The Office will be fully operational from tomorrow morning, Friday 4 April.
If you are visiting and need to speak to our Patient Travel Office team please head to the main reception desk where you will be able to speak to someone during normal office hours from tomorrow. A large sign will also be in place to direct visitors to the front desk.
Patients and visitors will be able to access the area throughout the period but please be aware there may be some disruption, including to the volunteer service provided, while the work takes place.
We would ask that you bear with our teams while the development is underway - thank you.
