International Women's Day success

There was a fantastic turnout for the International Women’s Day event held at Gorleston’s Pavilion Theatre on Saturday, with hundreds of women and girls dropping in during the day between 10am and 3pm.

A huge range of different organisations had stands at the event and we’d like to thank everyone who came along to make the day so special.

Among the highlights were a talk by former Anglia TV presenter, author, columnist and psychotherapist Christine Webber and Bollywood dancing from a group of young women who created the routine themselves before performing this on the theatre stage.

The event gave everyone attending – including men and boys who came along to show their support – the opportunity to have a chat and to find out more about the activities and opportunities available on the east coast.

Organisers Sarah and Cath are delighted at how it went and would like to thank all those who had stalls and displays and everyone who visited.

We're encouraging all those who attended to give us some feedback about the day. If you would like to do this please fill in our short survey, available here; https://forms.office.com/e/s2ujAECSip
