In a life threatening emergency you should dial 999 but if you need medical assistance and it’s urgent but not an emergency please use the NHS 111 service first.
This online or telephone service will be able to give you advice about which medical service you need and, if required, they are able to allocate timed slots to support social distancing within our emergency department to help us protect the safety of patients and our staff.
