Staff from departments across the James Paget showcased their work to the public and their colleagues yesterday at a special event.
The Improving Together event featured display stands highlighting some of the initiatives taking place across the hospital in areas including digital health, research, and organisational development, with staff on hand to explain how their work is helping improve services and patient care.
Improving Together was followed by the Trust’s Annual General Meeting.
The AGM included presentations giving an overview of the Trust’s Annual Report - which you can read online by clicking here - progress against strategic plans, financial performance in 2023-24 and the priorities for the year ahead.
It also featured a presentation entitled ‘Transforming Theatres’ in which our theatres team explained how they have implemented multiple improvements to make their department a better place to work over the last year. This has included initiatives which have resulted in more training opportunities for staff, better career development, enhanced communication and a commitment to becoming more sustainable.
There was also a short video focusing on our hospital’s use of technology to improve its services for the benefit of both patients and staff. You can view the video below.
