Every individual hospital trust has a Patient Advice & Liaison Service team. Our team are here to assist patients from the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area, and anyone else who uses services at the James Paget University Hospital or at our other local sites.
If you choose to come to this hospital and use our services but are not satisfied for any reason, the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) can help.

We work hard to give the highest standards of care but sometimes things can go wrong.
If this happens, we do all we can to put things right for you as quickly as possible and do our best to make sure the same thing doesn't happen again.
We are dedicated to listening to the views and concerns of our patients, relatives and carers.
If you have any comments you wish to make about the hospital’s services, please let us know.
The feedback you give us is invaluable. Your comments help the hospital develop the right services for the people of Great Yarmouth and Waveney.
The Friends and Family Test was rolled out across NHS-funded services in 2013. It aims to maintain a culture of continuous improvement in the NHS by enabling the views of patients and their families to be heard.
The Friends and Family Test is used to gain feedback in both Inpatient and Outpatient areas, providing a platform to shape and deliver better services.
It is a simple, comparable, test which provides a mechanism to identify both good and bad performance, encouraging staff to make improvements where services do not live up to expectations.
You will find Friends and Family Test Patient Feedback Cards across the Trust but you can also complete the feedback online - please visit: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/JPUHFriendsandFamilyTest
