The Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) on the James Paget site offers Ultrasound, X-ray,CT and MRI scanning and is open from 8am to 8.30am 7 days a week.
Many outpatient and GP appointments will be booked to this building so please check your letter to ensure you attend the correct location.
We also have a Community Diagnostic Centre on the Northgate hospital site in Great Yarmouth - please see below for more information.
Patients may now receive an invitation to have a scan at the new Community Diagnostic Centre on the James Paget hospital site.
This is a building on the north side of our site – to the right of the main hospital building if you are standing in the front car park looking towards the hospital – behind the Louise Hamilton Centre. Please see the map here for guidance or watch our video below to see how to get there.
If you or someone you know has an appointment here, please note that there is a drop-off zone right outside, and several spaces for disabled parking. The drop off zone allows up to 30 minutes free parking but after this there is a payment and we ask that you use the main car park if you expect to be longer than 30 minutes as we have limited spaces. You can find out more about parking on our site by clicking here.
The entrance doors to the Centre are in the glass windowed section at the front corner of the building.
We have a vending machine and water fountain available within the CDC.
We also have a CDC at the Northgate hospital too – please see the link below.
We undertake CT scanning at the Northgate site including scans for the national lung screening service.
