Experience

After graduating from Nottingham Medical School, and working throughout the UK, I undertook training in general internal medicine and gastroenterology in East Anglia. I spent 3 years at the University of East Anglia, completing a doctorate of medicine investigating the aetiology and gallstone disease and pancreatic cancer with emphasis on nutritional factors. I was appointed as a gastroenterologist at the JPUH in October 2012 where I continue to develop gastroenterology research and undertake the role of clinical lead for dementia care.
