GP, Local Pharmacy, NHS 111

Your GP can help you with an illness or minor injury unless it's out of hours, when you should call 111 (see details below).

If you have a common illness or injury, visit a pharmacist, who can provide confidential, expert advice and treatments for a range of common illnesses and complaints, without having to wait for a GP appointment.

You can call 111 for all non emergency healthcare needs

NHS 111 is a free to call telephone number for people wanting to access urgent healthcare but not needing to call 999. NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones. More information is available online at www.nhs.uk/111

You can also visit the NHS website (www.nhs.uk) and click 'Services near you' to find your nearest pharmacy or surgery.
